The issue

Difficulties in handling emergency calls

By law, we must guarantee a 24-hour telephone answering service to receive reports of gas leaks or other emergency situations. The night service was managed by on-call technicians to whom the calls received at our PBX were diverted. However, this solution showed a critical issue: the number that appeared on the technician’s cell phone was always that of our sPBX. Thus, in the event of a dropped conversation or absence of GSM coverage, our technician was unable to call back the Customer whose phone number they did not know. The Customer was therefore forced to call back, sometimes repeatedly, resulting in lost time and damage to our reputation.
